Jorge Ramírez Lamy

Presidente y CEO de la National Family Strengthening Network – USA (NFSN-USA).

He is an attorney with an emphasis in Political Science and International Relations, holds a postgraduate specialization in Political Studies, and earned a Master’s degree in Public Affairs & Human Services in the United States. He brings more than 15 years of professional experience leading social programs, community development projects, and institutional strengthening strategies across governmental, academic, and community-based settings. Throughout his career, he has designed and implemented high-impact social and legislative interventions that have directly benefited hundreds of thousands of individuals, with a particular focus on families, vulnerable communities, and the strengthening of the social fabric.

He has held strategic leadership positions within national and local government entities in his country of origin, Colombia, where he distinguished himself through the optimization of public services, the improvement of citizen service delivery systems, the implementation of accessibility-focused approaches, and the achievement of measurable results in institutional efficiency, regulatory compliance, and public trust. His experience includes coordinating multidisciplinary teams, supervising personnel, managing specialized volunteers, and producing bilingual technical reports grounded in data analysis and impact indicators.

In the academic field, Jorge Ramírez Lamy also serves as a university professor at both undergraduate and graduate levels in the United States, teaching courses in human services, public management, strategic planning, community development, and social policy. His pedagogical approach emphasizes competency-based learning, critical thinking, and the practical application of knowledge.

As the founder and leader of NFSN-USA, his strategic vision is focused on building a national, preventive, and coordinated family strengthening model capable of complementing and enhancing existing systems in the United States and Puerto Rico, promoting more resilient communities, stronger families, public policies with a human-centered, sustainable, and evidence-based approach, as well as long-term cultural transformation processes.

Piedad Arango Pinilla

Director of Timely Action Line and Projects – National Family Strengthening Network (NFSN-USA)

Piedad Arango Pinilla serves as Director of the Timely Action Line and Projects at the National Family Strengthening Network – USA (NFSN-USA), where she leads the design, coordination, and implementation of intervention strategies focused on early response, family rehabilitation, and relationship strengthening.

She is a licensed psychologist with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a postgraduate specialization in Project Management earned in the United States. Her professional background combines clinical psychological intervention with strong expertise in project design, execution, and evaluation, particularly in initiatives related to family strengthening and relational well-being. She has extensive experience in clinical practice, psychosocial intervention, and the development of research projects addressing family dynamics, prevention, and resilience.

Piedad Arango Pinilla has worked with government institutions and multidisciplinary teams in the public sector, contributing to the design and implementation of evidence-based programs aimed at improving individual and family outcomes. In the academic sphere, she has served as a teaching assistant at a North American university, supporting undergraduate and graduate-level instruction and contributing to academic research and applied learning environments.

She is widely recognized for her practical, compassionate, and human-centered approach, with a professional focus on the rehabilitation of relationships as a foundational pillar for healthy families and a strong, cohesive society. Through her leadership at NFSN-USA, she plays a key role in advancing timely, effective, and sustainable interventions that promote emotional well-being, family stability, and social resilience.
